These isolates constitute part 2 part series of isolates in partial fulfillment of the aims from an R21 proposal with Drs. Bonomo and VanDuin from the ARLG. ~200 isolates total when both runs are completed.Specific Aim 1: To discover molecular characteristics that are associated with poor clinical outcomes in patients infected with ST258 strains of CRKP.Specific Aim 2: To study the mechanisms and clinical impact of tigecycline and colistin resistance in CRKP strains.
