Benchmarking Operational Efficiency in Commercial Aviation. A Data-Driven Digital Twin Approach using ADS-B and ERA5

This dataset contains high-fidelity synchronized flight data for commercial operations between Casablanca (CMN) and New York (JFK) utilizing the Boeing 787-9 aircraft. The unique value of this dataset lies in the Digital Twin methodology: every recorded ADS-B waypoint has been spatio-temporally coupled with high-resolution meteorological data (Wind, Temperature) extracted from the ECMWF ERA5 Reanalysis. Scope: - Route: CMN (Mohammed V International) to JFK (John F. Kennedy International). - Period: November 1, 2024 to November 30, 2024. - Total Flights: 28 processed trajectories. - Data Source (Telemetry): Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B). - Data Source (Weather): ECMWF ERA5 Global Reanalysis (0.25 degree grid, Hourly).
