Genetic diversity of bacterial endosymbionts of Dermacentor spp. ticks

Hard ticks are ancient arachnid with unique physiology and evolution adaptability. Here we estimate the genetic diversity of bacterial endosymbionts of Dermacentor spp ticks. collected on Eurasian territory stretches about 3,000 km from east to west. The locations have a large variations in landscape, climate, elevation and vegetation. To estimate ticks microbiome we have sequenced V3-V4 hypervariable region of the 16S ribosomal RNA.
