资源简介:
Piloderma croceum is a widely distributed and due to its yellow color, particularly well known ectomycorrhizal fungus. It associates with many economically important coniferous and deciduous trees, including oak species, and P. croceum isolates have been predominantly found in organic materials such as organic litter layer or decaying wood, but also in mineral soil horizons. P. croceum genome has been sequenced by DOE JGI. We applied bioinformatic tools to investigate evolutionary aspects of the genome from P. croceum, and used RNA sequencing to examine how symbiosis, mycorrhiza formation with pedunculate oak and the abiotic physical environment (light) affect its transcriptome.
