Survey on Voluntary Work, 2014

The purpose of the survey was to identify the population's participation in voluntary organizations, both in the form of volunteer work and financial support. In addition the study aims to map out voluntary work for other organizations and for friends and family. The survey was conducted by Statistics Norway in 2014, in collaboration with the Institute for Social Research (ISF). This was the third time SSB collected information on this subject. A similar survey was conducted in 2009, and the topic was also included as part of the Omnibus Survey in the second quarter of 2004.
