Centennial mine, Dagushan animation

Centennial Mine, Dagushan is an original educational animation developed as a core component of this doctoral research. The animation presents the historical development, industrial significance, and landscape transformation of the Dagushan Iron Mine through a narrative-based visual format designed for primary-school audiences. The animation was created specifically for research purposes and was subsequently used as the primary intervention material in the user testing phase of this study. It formed the basis for both qualitative and quantitative evaluations, including classroom-based viewing sessions and follow-up assessments examining students’ learning experiences, understanding, and responses to industrial heritage content.
