本数据集为发表于《地球与行星科学快报（Earth and Planetary Science Letters）》的论文《鲕粒（ooid）形成的时空规律与作用机制：鲕粒所揭示的古海水化学信息》的配套研究数据与代码。其中too_big.zip包含3个因体积过大无法直接上传至GitHub的文件；ooid_growth-main.zip为论文发表时对应代码的GitHub归档仓库。若后续该代码有更新或修改，可通过链接https://github.com/boltonhowes22/ooid_growth_code_data 获取。
