This collection of data includes microscopic images of canine, feline and human soft tissue sarcoma as well as canine and feline healthy skin and inflammatory tissue samples. Each tissue section was stained using a routine hematoxylin and eosin stain and was immunohistochemically (IHC) stained for the expression of fibroblast activation protein alpha (FAP). The IHC staining protocol is included in this collection as well as the results of the image analysis. An automated histomorphometry software Visiopharm® (Hoersholm, Denmark) was used for quantification of FAP staining in digitalized whole-slide images. Images of how the used applications are programmed are provided.
本数据集涵盖犬、猫及人类软组织肉瘤的显微图像,同时包含犬与猫的健康皮肤及炎症组织样本。所有组织切片均采用常规苏木精-伊红染色,并通过免疫组织化学(immunohistochemistry, IHC)染色检测成纤维细胞激活蛋白α(fibroblast activation protein alpha, FAP)的表达情况。本数据集同时收录了IHC染色方案与图像分析结果。研究采用自动化组织形态计量软件Visiopharm®(丹麦霍尔瑟姆市)对数字化全切片图像中的FAP染色结果进行定量分析。本数据集还提供了所用应用程序的编程实现过程图像。
