Ecology lab 3 - Insects pitfall trap experiment of group 2 (lab 08) in Keele Campus on Sep 30, 2015

During the lab time (2:30-5:30) September 30, 2015, pitfall trap were set in both woodlot and on the grassland, the field was still located beside the law<br>school. There were 12 plastic bowls in total and in three colors: yellow, white and blue, 4 of each color. 12 plastic bowls were devided into 2 groups (2 of<br>each color and in total 6 of each group) and placed in woodlot and grassland. The distance of each bowl was set 1 meters away from each other. Each<br>bowl was filled with soup water (about a quater of the depth of the bowl) at the end of the lab, the insects that trapped in each bowl were counted and recorded. The pitfall trap was set by all the group members.
