Export volume of rice from Tanzania 2016-2020

In 2020, Tanzania exported around 234.3 thousand metric tons of rice. In the last years, rice exports fluctuated substantially, as rice produced in the country is mostly consumed locally. Neighboring countries, such as Uganda and Kenya, are the main destinations for Tanzanian rice exports.
