HYDROUSA_Results of replication service tool_dataset

Within HYDROUSA project a new methodology for assessing the replicability of HYDROs was developed to evaluate social, political, technical, and economic aspects (quantified by indicators) in the respective study area. This methodology transforms the qualitative and quantitative information collected from local stakeholders into a quantitative score. This feasibility assessment methodology has been applied in European (D7.3), the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) (D7.4) and non-European replication sites (D7.5).Based on the approach of this methodology, a new open tool (replication service tool) was developed to allow different users to quickly assess the replicability of the solutions proposed in the HYDROUSA project, based on the information available to them about the area under study. This tool was developed as a link within the HYDROUSA website (www.hydrousa.org) in order to make it available online to all stakeholders. Therefore, a graphical user interface (GUI) was developed, where users can follow step by step instructions to get a first indication of the best applicable HYDRO solution for the study area in question.
