Microbial community abundance and taxonomy data, CO2 emissions data, and soil property data associated with a controlled soil incubation experiment manipulating drought and plant residue diversity. These data are published in Soil Biology & Biochemistry (2025, DOI:10.1016/j.soilbio.2025.109983). Raw soil bacterial and fungal sequences are available in NCBI SRA under BioProject ID PRJNA1209072.
