Protected-area drought-buffering analysis code and selected summary data

This archive contains the core analysis code and selected derived summary data supporting the manuscript "Protected areas buffer productivity loss under drought". The code covers protected-area processing, drought-event matching, vegetation buffering analysis, stratification, VPD mechanism analysis, double machine learning, and future VPD-linked buffering potential analysis. The selected data tables are derived summary outputs and do not include raw datasets or large event-level intermediate tables.
