Social cohesion in ecosystem restoration data

This dataset focuses on social cohesion in ecosystem restoration. We collected the data to answer key questions about how ecosystem restoration and social cohesion can support each other. We also looked at how to overcome unpredictable outcomes that arise from ecosystem restoration implementation on social cohesion to strengthen both in the future. Since there is no standard definition of social cohesion, we first asked respondents what social cohesion means to them to help create a working definition. Next, we explored how different restoration practices can either promote or unintentionally hinder social cohesion. We specifically asked about the effects on both horizontal (between the community members) and vertical cohesion (between the citizens and the state). Finally, we gathered recommendations from respondents on how restoration efforts can be designed to better support social cohesion.本数据集聚焦生态修复语境下的社会凝聚力（social cohesion）。本次数据采集旨在回应两项核心研究问题：其一，生态修复与社会凝聚力如何实现双向支撑与赋能；其二，如何克服生态修复实施过程中对社会凝聚力产生的不可预期影响，以在未来同步强化两者的发展水平。鉴于当前尚未形成社会凝聚力的统一定义，我们首先向受访者征询其对社会凝聚力的个人认知，以此构建本研究的操作性定义。随后，我们探究了不同修复实践对社会凝聚力的作用路径，既包括正向促进效应，也涵盖无意带来的阻碍作用，并特别关注了两类凝聚力的受影响情况：横向凝聚力（社区成员之间）与纵向凝聚力（公民与国家之间）。最后，我们收集了受访者提出的相关建议，以明确如何优化修复方案的设计，从而更好地助力社会凝聚力建设。
