Groundwater-dependent ecosystems at risk

This dataset relates to the publication: "Groundwater-dependent ecosystems at risk – global hotspot analysis and implications" (Environmental Research Letters). It provides the key results and processed input data of this work. The results relate to a global screening analyisis on potentials for groundwater-dependent ecosystems and associated risks due to human groundwater abstraction. Nine key indicators capture GDE potentials and associated risks on a global grid at a spatial resolution of 0.5°. Full details of the work can be found in the associated publication.
