Social recognition and short-term memory in the striped mouse genus Rhabdomys

Dataset containing measures of the latency to approach and duration of investigation in same-species dyadic encounters between familiar and unknown conspecific females in cryptic <i>Rhabdomys pumilio </i>and <i>R. dilectus chakae</i>. “R” code used in the statistical analysis of the data is also included.
