Replication Data for: Development and Diffusion of the Social Capital Index (SoCI)

This Dataverse deposit provides replication data and Stata syntax for constructing the Social Capital Index (SoCI) at the U.S. county level (50 states and the District of Columbia). The dataset integrates indicators derived from the U.S. Census Bureau American Community Survey (ACS) 2022 5-year estimates and the National Neighborhood Data Archive (NaNDA) 2020. The final output includes normalized component measures, three sub-indices (BRIDG, BONDG, LINKG), and the overall Social Capital Index (SOCIX), consistent with the methodology reported in Kyne, Aldrich, and Kyei (2026), “Development and Diffusion of the Social Capital Index (SoCI),” published in Social Sciences.
