Complete genome sequences of eight plant-beneficial strains belonging to the order Caryophanales

We screened a large collection of bacterial strains belonging to the Bacillaceae and Caryophanaceae families (order Caryophanales) for their abiliy to promote the growth of lettuce plants under controlled conditions. The genomes of eight strains displaying plant growth-promotion activity were sequenced using PacBio sequencing technology. The eight strains belong to six different species (Bacillus mycoides, Bacillus pseudomycoides, Lysinibacillus fusiformis, Lysinibacillus xylanilyticus, Psychrobacillus psychrodurans, and Priestia megaterium).
