This dataset is primarily targeted at meteorological disaster analysis, climate change impact assessment, and cross-domain resilience strategy research in sectors such as energy, transportation, and agriculture. The core content of the dataset is numerical meteorological data covering 3,134 county-level administrative regions across 34 provincial-level administrative divisions in China, spanning from 2011 to 2023. Based on the red warning criteria specified in the "Measures for the Issuance and Dissemination of Meteorological Disaster Warning Signals" issued by the China Meteorological Administration (CMA), the dataset has systematically identified and cataloged five types of extreme meteorological events: typhoons, strong winds, high temperatures, heavy rain, and frost. Its core value lies in that, for the first time at the national county-level scale, it combines long-time-series meteorological observations with statutory red warning threshold standards, achieving unified identification and structured aggregation of multi-disaster extreme events, providing high-quality, reproducible data support for research on spatiotemporal distribution patterns and quantitative risk modeling. This dataset is primarily generated using global reanalysis meteorological data provided by the NASA POWER open database. The research team efficiently acquired raw data using asynchronous web crawling technology with high-performance computing equipment, and conducted large-scale cleaning, standardization processing, and quality control using tools such as Python. Ultimately, automatic threshold determination was performed on daily meteorological elements based on the quantitative criteria specified in the aforementioned national-level warning standards, to screen out red warning events. The main content of the dataset consists of two parts: first, data tables recording daily key meteorological elements (such as temperature, precipitation) for each county, which are used to identify strong wind, high temperature, heavy rain, and frost events; second, dedicated typhoon data tables containing detailed information such as typhoon tracks and intensity. All data is organized in CSV format and stored hierarchically by disaster type and province, facilitating retrieval and analysis.
