This data set contains the GROSS IRRIGATION DEMAND Schedule: Deficit by 20 mm/Application in South Africa. Gross irrigation demand is the gross irrigation water that needs to be abstracted from a source of water (e.g. dam) to satisfy the irrigated crop`s water requirement. In deficit irrigation, conveyance losses of 10% were assumed, while wind/spray drift losses were set at 12% (assuming overhead irrigation), with crop interception losses at 1.5 mm per irrigation application. The soil profile was depleted to 50% of plant available water (PAW), it was refilled to 20 mm below drained upper limit (DUL), thereby leaving voids which could be filled by rain.

本数据集包含南非地区单次灌溉亏缺20毫米条件下的总灌溉需水量(Gross Irrigation Demand)计划表。总灌溉需水量指为满足灌溉作物的需水要求,需从水源(如拦水坝)抽取的总灌溉水量。在亏缺灌溉场景中,假设输水损失为10%;针对高架灌溉场景,风/喷溅漂移损失设定为12%;单次灌溉的作物截留损失为1.5毫米。该数据集设定土壤剖面被耗竭至植物有效水(Plant Available Water, PAW)的50%,随后被补充至距排水上限(Drained Upper Limit, DUL)下限20毫米处,从而预留出可被雨水填充的孔隙空间。
