Through a qualitative analytical approach applied in policy research, with the inclusion of <i>Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) and Framework Analysis (FA)</i> analytical tools, comprehensive <i>national initiatives</i><i> </i>directly connected to initial teacher education (ITE) available online (2010-2017) and <i>the strong beginnings: report of the teacher education expert panel</i><i> </i>(2023) are analysed, with data compared and cross-checked for credibility and dependability.
