Replication Data for: When Do Politicians Grandstand? Measuring Message Politics in Committee Hearings

This is the replication data set and R code for "When Do Politicians Grandstand? Measuring Message Politics in Committee Hearings" to be published at the Journal of Politics. The data contains the "grandstanding score" measured for each committee hearing statement that House members of Congress made and measured for each House representative in the past ten Congresses from 105th through 114th. The data set also contains congress-level, committee-level, hearing-level and member-level variables used for the study.
