The dataset supports the research paper “Managerial Reasoning Styles and Competitive Advantage: The Mediating Roles of Employee Commitment and Corporate Reputation in Vietnamese Firms.” It contains survey responses collected from 382 firms in Vietnam, including state-owned enterprises, foreign direct investment (FDI) firms, and private companies. The data include measures of analytical reasoning perspective, holistic reasoning perspective, employee commitment, corporate reputation, and competitive advantage. Each construct was assessed through validated multi-item Likert scales. The dataset is structured for quantitative analysis and was primarily used in partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to test hypothesized relationships among the constructs.
