Metagenomics provides a means for studying microbial communities on their own turf. Complex ecological interactions. In this project, we studied the different microbial communities present in the traditionally fermented fruit juices by the independent culture method. Further study reveals it can be used as healthy fermented juice, which in turn increases the good gut microbiota and aids in good digestion.
