For the purpose of automated claim verification, MultiFC is the largest publicly available dataset of naturally occurring factual claims. It was collected from 26 English-language fact-checking websites, paired with textual sources and rich metadata, and annotated for accuracy by human expert journalists. An example of a claim instance can be seen in the figure below. Entities were obtained via entity linking. Article and outlink texts, evidence search snippets, and pages are not shown.
