Gross savings in the UK 2000-2022

The value of gross savings in the United Kingdom (UK) fluctuated significantly since 2000, reaching over 500 billion U.S. dollars in 2022. These figures refer to the total savings in the UK, and therefore it does not just refer to households. In 2020, due to the coronavirus outbreak and the measures put in place by government to fight the pandemic, households savings rate in the UK soared.
