Evidence for reproductive senescence across ray-finned fishes: A review

The review is focused on examining evidence for reproductive senescence in fish. We defined three selection criteria for assessing an article to be suitable for our review. The article must have been on ray-finned fish (Actinopterygii), age of the fish has been determined and the study must have looked at a reproductive trait in relationship with age of the fish. We compiled a collection of articles based on search in Web of Science and Scopus databases. In the second stage, we performed thorough screen of full-texts of the pre-selected articles and extracted detailed information. This information was summarized for writing the review. Attached is the original article collection with 29 317 entries. Then we include collection after the initial screen and subsequent identification of unsuitable and duplicate entries (1 249 entries). The file of records of the reproductive traits (multiple triats per study) contains 409 entries. We also added annotation of the final records file for completeness and PRISMA flowchart to show the steps and the number of entries during our literature search and data retrieval.

本综述旨在探究鱼类生殖衰老的相关证据。我们制定了三项遴选标准，以判断文献是否符合本综述的纳入要求：研究对象为辐鳍鱼（Actinopterygii）、已明确受试鱼类的年龄、且研究探讨了鱼类生殖性状与年龄的关联。我们通过检索Web of Science与Scopus数据库，初步汇总了相关文献集。第二阶段，我们对预筛选出的文献全文开展了细致筛查，并提取了详细信息，随后对提取内容进行汇总以用于撰写本综述。附件中包含初始检索得到的29317条文献记录；随后，我们完成初始筛选并识别剔除不合格与重复条目，最终得到包含1249条记录的文献集。本数据集的生殖性状记录文件（每项研究包含多组性状数据）共包含409条记录。此外，我们为最终的记录文件添加了完整性注释，并附上PRISMA流程图，以展示本次文献检索与数据获取的各步骤及各阶段的记录数量。
