Urban stream baseflow

The data set contains baseflow measurements for urban streams in the City of Turku, Southwest Finland.
The measurements were done across the frost-free period of one year in the urban/peri-urban streams "Kuninkoja", "Saukonoja", and "Kovasoja". The measurements were done during dry periods using a SonTek Flowtracker handheld current meter at defined stream transects.

The baseflow data was collected to establish a baseline for dry weather flow, both for the setup of urban stormwater models and to better understand the impact of stormflow on hydrology and water quality in the study area. Further details about the monitoring locations and measurement techniques can be found in the data sets.
