ThMYC4E, candidate gene controlling blue grain trait, was transferred to common wheat JW1. the RNA-Seq and qRT-PCR analysis showed the transcript level of the structural genes of anthocyanin biosynthesis were higher in transgenic wheat than WT, which indicated that ThMYC4E activated the anthocyanins biosynthesis in transgenic lines.
