资源简介:
The dataset was produced within the framework of the ALAMOD project (ANR-22-PEXF-002), part of the France2030 program and the national PEPR FAIRCARBON initiative, which aims to improve the quantification of vegetation structure and carbon-related variables using multi-source remote sensing data . The data acquisition also benefited from logistical and technical support provided by the Professional Licence GGAT (IUT Auch – University of Toulouse), particularly through the lending of equipment within educational training projects (www.ggat.fr). LiDAR data were collected over a 0.23 ha poplar plantation using a DJI Matrice 300 UAV equipped with a Zenmuse L1 LiDAR sensor (905 nm, up to 240 kpts.s-1, single/dual/triple returns, RTK < 5 cm). Data acquisition was acheived during twenty-two flights in 2024 and 2025 at varied altitude (35–120 m above ground), speed, orientation, number of returns, margins, and seasonality (winter and spring, leaf-off and leaf-on). Raw data were converted to LAS using DJI Terra (EPSG: 2154, EGM96). Ground points were classified with ArcGIS. Field circumferences were measured with flexible tapes at 0.60, 1.30, and 2.00 m. The data were collected in a managed poplar (Populus spp.) plantation located in Ordan-Larroque (43.690893° N, 0.464305° E), Occitanie region, southwestern France. The study area covers 0.23 ha within a 1.4 ha plantation at an average elevation of 149 m A.G.L. (Above Ground Level). These data are reusable for scientist investigated in forest or tree plantation monitoring.
