The sweet potato whitefly, Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) complex, contains more than 40 cryptic species, among which B. tabaci MEAM1 (also known as biotype B) and B. tabaci MED (also known as biotype Q)
Bacteriocyte numbers vary with whiteflies development and sex, but we have little acknowledge about this. To figure that out,we did transcriptome sequening of sigle bacteriocyte in abdome of whitefly.
