A detailed ultrastructural examination of lung cryobiopsy samples from a COVID-19 patient case series – Data set 16

We investigated six cryobiopsy samples from six deceased patients (patients C03 to C08 from Barisione et al. 2020 doi.org/10.1007/s00428-020-02934-1) by using thin section electron microscopy (Cortese et al. 2022 doi.org/10.1007/s00428-022-03308-5). A detailed description of the methods and the data set is provided in the download container. Data set 16 contains stitched image montages of a thin section through the lung of patient C06 which were acquired by scanning electron microscopy. The file “Data_set_16.tif” contains a montage of the entire thin section while the other files contain selected areas of the section recorded at higher resolution.我们采用超薄切片电子显微镜（thin section electron microscopy）技术，对6名已故患者的6份冷冻活检（cryobiopsy）样本开展了分析。上述样本来自Barisione等人2020年发表的研究（doi.org/10.1007/s00428-020-02934-1）中的C03至C08号患者，实验方法参考了Cortese等人2022年的研究（doi.org/10.1007/s00428-022-03308-5）。本数据集与实验方法的详细说明已收录于下载容器中。数据集16包含通过扫描电子显微镜（scanning electron microscopy）采集的C06号患者肺部超薄切片的拼接式图像全景图。其中文件"Data_set_16.tif"包含整张超薄切片的完整拼接全景图，其余文件则为该切片选定区域的高分辨率成像结果。
