Replication Package for "Data Bites Back: Data-Plane Attacks and Defenses for MCP Tool Interactions"

This repository contains the official replication package for the paper "Data Bites Back: Data-Plane Attacks and Defenses for MCP Tool Interactions", submitted to the Empirical Software Engineering (EMSE) journal. It includes the 350 test cases used for data-plane attack evaluation, the source code of the proposed bidirectional defense gateway scanner, all 1,400 raw execution traces across four open-weight models, and Python scripts to reproduce the statistical results and tables.
