The prevalence and infection of Pasteurella multocida is one of the most serious threats to the poultry industry in China, this study was conducted to isolate and identify Pasteurella multocida in infected ducks. The whole genome sequencing analysis and gene functional annotation were carried out to have a more comprehensive understanding of its virulence genes, antigen genes and drug resistance genes, so as to provide more theoretical basis for the research and development of vaccines.
