Comparison of generalised additive models and neural networks in applications: A systematic review (Dataset)

Data collected for a systematic review analysing the performance between generalised additive models and neural networks on tabular data. A total of 445 papers were retrieved from a Scopus search string; of these, 143 papers were included, comprising 430 datasets that compared generalised additive models and neural networks.
