“一带一路”监测区域土地利用程度指数平均值为0.34,不同区域利用程度差异明显,但总体上高值区域与人口分布的稠密区域吻合。中南半岛、南亚、欧洲和小亚细亚半岛等地海拔较低,水热组合条件较好,农耕历史悠久,农田利用程度和建设性用地比重较高,土地利用程度指数普遍在0.6以上。亚欧大陆北部的土地利用程度指数为0.4~0.6,其中亚欧大陆北部属严寒区,生态环境相对严酷,利用程度较低。青藏高原西北部、中亚区、西亚区和非洲东北部区由于降水稀少,裸地和沙漠广布,只有少部分具备灌溉条件的土地开辟为农田,土地利用程度指数普遍在0.4以下。

The average Land Use Degree Index (LUDI) of the monitoring areas under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is 0.34. There are significant disparities in land use intensity across different regions, but overall, the high-value LUDI areas coincide with densely populated regions. The Indochina Peninsula, South Asia, Europe, the Anatolian Peninsula and other areas boast relatively low altitudes, favorable hydrothermal conditions and a long history of agricultural development, with high farmland utilization levels and a high proportion of built-up land, where the LUDI values generally exceed 0.6. The northern Eurasian continent has a LUDI ranging from 0.4 to 0.6. As a frigid zone with relatively harsh ecological environment, this region has low land use intensity. Northwestern Tibetan Plateau, Central Asia, West Asia and Northeastern Africa are marked by scarce precipitation and extensive bare land and deserts. Only a small portion of irrigable land in these regions has been reclaimed as farmland, with their LUDI values generally below 0.4.
