UK Residential Age Bands

UK Residential Age Bands is The Ark’s modelled age band dataset providing age estimates at individual household / address level for over 29m UK residential addresses.

The dataset is highly accurate and is a subset of The Ark’s UK Household File including ONS survey data and other data sources. The age band model provides a robust, consistent and statistically reliable source of age data for the whole of mainland UK.

Each address is supplied with a percentage likelihood across 8 age bands:-

Mean Number of Residents Aged 0 to 15 per Household
Mean Number of Residents Aged 16 to 24 per Household
Mean Number of Residents Aged 25 to 34 per Household
Mean Number of Residents Aged 35 to 44 per Household
Mean Number of Residents Aged 45 to 54 per Household
Mean Number of Residents Aged 55 to 64 per Household
Mean Number of Residents Aged 65 to 74 per Household
Mean Number of Residents Aged 75 or Older per Household

UK Residential Age Bands can be used to understand the age composition of households across mainland UK to support decision making such as offering services appropriate to the age of the occupier of a household.

Hosted in Snowflake, UK Residential Age Bands can be easily accessed and joined to any UK address, either using your own data matching software or The Ark’s JetStream key to key match solution.
