Revenue of national universities Japan FY 2020, by category

National university corporations in Japan generated close to 1.2 trillion Japanese yen from the operation of university hospitals in the fiscal year 2020. At the same time, approximately one trillion yen were granted from the government for the management. Since the enactment of the National University Corporation Act in 2003, all the national universities in Japan operate as corporations.

自2003年《国立大学法人法》颁布以来，日本所有国立大学均以法人身份运营。在2020财年，日本国立大学通过大学医院的运营，创造了接近1.2万亿日元的收益。与此同时，政府亦拨款约1万亿日元以资助其管理运营。
