Number of sexual offences in Northern Ireland 2002-2024

In 2023/24 there were approximately 4,090 sexual offences recorded by the Police in Northern Ireland. During this provided time period, the number of sexual offences has increased dramatically, from a low of 1,438 at the start of this period to the high witnessed in the previous reporting year.
