A comprehensive archive of Tropical cyclones vertical structure covering the period 2001-2018

This data collection merges all the information available about Tropical Cyclones (TC) co-located, within a time range of 3 hours and a space window of 500 km, with Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) Radio Occultations (RO) profiles in the period 2001-2018. We include the TC best-track data from the International Best Track Archive for Climate Stewardship (IBTrACS), the bending angle, refractivity, temperature, pressure and specific humidity (with 100-meter sampling from the surface up to 40 km) from the GNSS RO data processed by the Wegener Center for Climate and Global Change (WEGC) with the Occultation Processing System (OPS) version 5.6.2, and the WEGC climatologies of bending angle, temperature and specific humidity.
