Combined high energy surface x-ray diffraction and infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy study of carbon monoxide adsorption at the Pt

We plan to investigate the CO / Pt(111) surface phase diagram under electrochemical conditions, using a unique combination of high energy surface x-ray diffraction probing surface structure and Fourier Transform Reflection Absorption Infrared spectroscopy (FT-IRRAS) probing CO adsorption sites, using a unique, novel instrument developed in our FAU - DESY cooperation project.
