Difference in RNA sequencing in CVB3 infected and control mice fetuses Overall design: Pregnant mice were infected with CVB3 at E9 and fetuses were collected at E14. These fetuses were divided into 3 groups – control (uninfected) and infected. Fetuses were cryosectioned and using laser microdissection heart tissue (left ventricle, right ventricle, and interventricular septum) was collected for RNA extraction. This RNA was used to examine signaling pathways using RNAseq.
