Dataset of low latitude ionospheric irregularities in F section

Collect Very High Frequency (VHF) coherent scatter radar observation data from the Hainan Fuke Station of the Meridian Project, spanning from 2011 to 2020. The original data, organized in files every two hours, will be reorganized into 12 files per day. Subsequently, load the reorganized data daily, interpolate it to achieve a uniform resolution of 2 minutes in time and 0.711 km in space, and extract observations specific to the F region of the ionosphere. Following this, generate height-time-echo intensity images for each beam. To further analyze irregularity occurrences, including their time and height range, utilize the labelme software to annotate the locations of irregularities within the echo intensity images. Annotations will be formatted as (xmin, ymin, xmax, ymax), representing the top-left and bottom-right coordinates of each irregularity.This curated dataset serves as a valuable resource for building intelligent systems capable of recognizing and locating ionospheric irregularities.
