SUPPORTING LOW-ACHIEVING CADETS IN LEARNING ENGLISH: EFFECTIVE STRATEGIES FOR FOREIGN LANGUAGE ACQUISITION

In the context of military education, foreign language proficiency—particularly in English—has become an essential component of professional competence. However, a significant number of cadets demonstrate low achievement in learning English due to psychological, methodological, and motivational factors. This article analyzes the main reasons behind cadets’ low performance in English and proposes effective pedagogical strategies to enhance their foreign language learning outcomes. The study is based on theoretical analysis, observation, and synthesis of modern foreign language teaching methodologies. The results indicate that the application of differentiated instruction, communicative approaches, and motivational techniques significantly improves learning effectiveness among low-achieving cadets.在军事教育语境下，外语能力——尤其是英语能力——已成为职业素养的核心构成要素。然而，相当数量的军校学员在英语学习中成绩不佳，其成因涉及心理、教学方法及学习动机等多个层面。本文剖析了军校学员英语学习成绩不佳的核心成因，并提出可有效提升其外语学习成效的教学策略。本研究基于理论分析、观察以及对现代外语教学方法论的综合归纳展开。研究结果表明，应用差异化教学、交际教学法以及动机激励手段，可显著提升学业成绩不佳的军校学员的学习效能。
