The role of adipocyte lipolysis during dermal fibrosis

Lipolysis is an early event during derma; fibrosis progression. We wanted to see how the loss of lipolysis impacted cell dynamics within the Overall design: The mouse model, AdiCreER; mT/mG; Atglfl/fl, are able to conditionally knock out adipocyte lipolysis. Male mice between 6-8 weeks are shaved and receive 1 dose of topical tamoxifen on the back skin 2 days prior to injections. Mice were then injected subcutaneously for 5 days with either PBS or Bleomycin Sulfate. Back skin was collected and dissociated and submitted for scRNA-sequencing.
