In this study, a strain with high yield of ligustrazine was screened by conventional separation and gas chromatography (GC). In addition, through morphological identification, physiological and biochemical experiments and 16S rDNA sequence analysis, the strain was finally identified as Bacillus ruminosus. The mechanism of TTMP production in this strain was explored based on transcriptomics. Results A total of 1851 differentially expressed genes (DEG) were screened through data analysis, including 1055 up-regulated genes and 796 down-regulated genes.
