Bos taurus breed: Canadian Holstein WGBS Raw sequence reads (DNA methylation) of intestinal tissues of cows with Johne's disease

The method of whole genome bisulfite sequencing was used to profile the whole-genome-wide DNA methylation patterns of ileum and ileum lymph node tissues from Canada Holstein cows with subclinical Johne's disease and healthy cows. Furthermore, the methylation status between Johne's disease positive cows and healthy (control) cows were compared to identify the differential DNA methylation sites associated with Johne's Disease. Johne's disease is caused by Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis.
