Preliminary Data Collected By 2 Prototype Surface Velocity Platform Drifters With Barometer And Reference Sensor For Temperature (Svp-Brst)

The SVP-BRST drifter was developed to serve calibration and validation of Sentinel satellite SST retrievals. Two prototypes were deployed in the Mediterranean Sea end of April 2018. Preliminary data collected then until 11 June 2018 are published in this dataset. The drifters were developed and deployed under funding from the European Union's Copernicus Programme. The data are transmitted from the buoy to shore using data format #091 (see References).本数据集配套的SVP-BRST漂流浮标（SVP-BRST drifter）专为哨兵卫星（Sentinel satellite）海表温度（Sea Surface Temperature, SST）反演结果的校准与验证工作研发。2018年4月末，两台原型浮标于地中海海域完成布放。本数据集收录了自布放起至2018年6月11日期间采集的初步观测数据。该漂流浮标的研发与布放工作获得了欧盟哥白尼计划（Copernicus Programme）的资助。观测数据通过#091号数据格式（详见参考文献）从浮标传输至岸基接收站点。
