Dataset and Extended Data for: A Capital Market Literacy scale and evaluation among Ecuadorian Professionals

This repository contains the underlying data and extended materials for the article "A Capital Market Literacy scale and evaluation among Ecuadorian Professionals". The study proposes and validates an original 27-item Capital Market Literacy (CML) scale using a sample of 421 postgraduates in Ecuador. Files included in this dataset: Underlying data 1. Database: Raw survey responses from the 421 participants. 2. Tabulated Data: Processed and structured data used for statistical analysis. 3. Codebook: Data dictionary defining the variables, demographic categories, and Likert scale codings. Extended data 4. Extended Data: Supplementary materials, including the consent form, the questionnaire (Table S1), exploratory factor analysis loadings (Table S2), the polychoric correlation matrix (Figure S1), sociodemographic correlation tables (Table S3) and other questions (Table S4) and the ESPOL Ethics Committee Certification. 5.
