LncRNA EGOT regulates inflammation and growth We used microarrays to estudy global changes after EGOT depletion and found many inflammation and growth related factors strongly deregulated. Overall design: HuH7 cells were transfected with a plasmid expressing PKR and poly I:C to induce EGOT levels. In addition, 50 pmols of a gapmer targeting EGOT or a control gapmer were also transfected with lipofectamine 2000. RNA was isolated 36 hours post-transfection and RNA quality was evaluated before samples were hybridized to a Affymetrix Human Gene 32.0 ST array
